Steering Group.

Truce 20/20 is overseen and guided, not by adult supervisors, but by a representative
Steering Group of 12 young people who’ve attended the training course. . The Truce young people deliver presentations and take part in local, national or even international conferences on leadership and peacebuilding, representing the voice of youth and challenging the negative media stereotype.

A member of the steering group sits on the Conflict and Change’s management committee to make sure the voice of young people is heard throughout the organisation.

The Truce steering group won the  ‘Group of the Year’  in the field of conflict resolution, at the National PeerLink Awards 2009
